An execution creditor purchased the debtor’s Bronco II and camper at a sheriff’s sale for the execution costs. The purchase-money finance company then repossessed the vehicles under its superior interests. The court held that the buyer obtained only the debtor’s interest, subject to those secured interests. Because no proceeds were available for the support judgment, that judgment was not satisfied.

The opinion separately distinguishes levy, which does not completely divest the debtor, from sale, which transfers the debtor’s interest and satisfies the execution judgment only to the extent proceeds are applied. It is a personal-property case, not real-estate title language transplanted to vehicles.

Current Rule 3252 separately directs sale of the defendant’s interest. Current 13 Pa.C.S. § 9601(e)–(f) addresses a secured creditor’s judicial execution and its separate disposition rights. Do not generalize this ordinary-execution decision into an assertion that all liens survive every secured-party disposition.

The complete opinion and current rule/statute are verified. Comprehensive later treatment remains needs_verification; text retrieval is not a still-good certification.
